Message	:did you purchase the paint your self? if so how many quarts did you buy? or how many coats of paint? :was a primer used? :just curious cause im looking to get my car painted soon Go with Sherwin Williams paint, its the 7000 paint system. It costs way lesser than ppg but its just as good if not better. Their costumer service is also top notch better than ppg. He did 2 coats of base and 3 coats of clear. He stressed a lot preparation more than anything. As for primer, I have no idea.
